Abstract
A low cost torque transfer device capable of imparting high levels of force and torque to small diameter lead bodies and the like. The torque transfer device of the present invention may be mounted on or peeled off a lead body by the single hand of a user, and may be formed from relatively inexpensive materials using high volume manufacturing methods. An aperture disposed inside the device has inner sidewalls for engaging the outer surface of a lead body, guide wire, catheter or like device.
