Abstract
There are described a method and an apparatus for forming a multi-lobed winding for the stator of an alternator, in which two multi-lobed coils angularly shifted relative to each other are made with a continuous operation, without interrupting the wire being fed between one coil and the other, so that the final winding obtained there by has only two terminal ends.
