Abstract
A keyboard scancode signal is processed by the following steps. In response to the scancode signal, and before capture of the scancode signal by a first program that would otherwise interfere with use of the scancode signal by a second program, causing execution of the second program. After execution of the second program, interaction with the first program is permitted.
