Abstract

Disclosed is an electrophotographic photoreceptor comprising an electrically conductive support and thereon formed a light-sensitive layer containing a carrier generation material, a carrier transport material and a binder resin, wherein said light-sensitive layer comprises a copolymer having a structural unit represented by Formula B.sub.1 and Formula B.sub.2 ; ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 independently represent a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, or an aryl group, R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 may combine together to form a cyclic hydrocarbon residue having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, R.sub.3, R.sub.4, R.sub.5 and R.sub.6 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom, an alkyl group having 1 to 6 carbon atoms, a cyclic hydrocarbon residue having 4 to 10 carbon atoms, or an aryl group, l, m, p and q independently represent an integer of 1 to 4. The electrophotographic photoreceptor has high sensitivity and high durability.
