Abstract
An aqueous formula is disclosed that combines a relatively low concentration of glutaraldehyde with very low concentrations of alcohol in a stabilizing alkaline buffer system. This formula is sporicidal within 10 hrs. at 20.degree. C., and bactericidal, fungicidal, tuberculocidal, and virucidal within 20 min. at 20.degree. C.
