Abstract
A developer carrying member includes a substrate, the surface of which is covered with a conducting layer. The conducting layer contains a binder resin and conducting spherical particles dispersed therein having a number average particle diameter of from 0.3 .mu.m to 30 .mu.m and a true density of 3 g/cm.sup.3 or below.
