Abstract

This composition includes a pulverulent fraction of relative density D, compatible with application to the skin, dispersed in a binder consisting of an emulsion comprising a fatty phase and an aqueous phase, in which: the particles of the said fraction have dimensions of between 0.5 and 100 .mu.m, the particle concentration per unit volume of said composition is at least equal to the critical particle concentration C*, and the filler content F, defined in % by the formula: ##EQU1## is between F0 and 1.8.times.F0, the value F0 being calculated as follows: if D.ltoreq.0.1 F0=10 if 0.1<D.ltoreq.0.6 F0=(60.times.D)+4 if D>0.6 F0=40. The invention also relates to the corresponding process of preparation and the make-up product obtained.
