Abstract

There is disclosed an ester compound of the formula (I), ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 represents a methyl group or a hydrogen atom, R.sup.2 represents a proparqyl group or an allyl group, and R.sup.3 represents a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5)alkyl group, a (C.sub.1 -C.sub.5)haloalkyl group or a (C.sub.3 -C.sub.5)cycloalkyl group and R.sup.4 represents a halogen atom or a hydrogen atom, and a pesticide containing the same as an active ingredient.
