Abstract

An aqueous cleansing and moisturising composition comprising 5-35 wt. % C.sub.8 to C.sub.22 fatty acid; up to 10 wt. % of a surface active agent, a benefit agent having a weight average particle size in the range 15 to 500 microns and structurant. The structurant is a material which causes the composition to adopt the lamellar phase or a material which structures the continuous liquid phase or a mixture thereof. The composition is substantially free of insoluble solid fatty acid or fatty acid soap.
