Abstract
The invention relates to an optical recording medium comprising a substrate, a reflecting layer and a recording layer, which recording layer consists essentially of a dye of the formula (I), ##STR1## in which R.sub.1 and R.sub.6 are hydrogen or unsubstituted or substituted alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aralkyl or aryl,
