Abstract

Methods are provided for treating sepsis/endotoxin-induced acute renal failure, and renal vasoconstriction and catecholamine-induced renal and mesenteric vasconstriction by administering to a patient a therapeutically effective amount of a composition comprising at least one drug with Type IV phosphodiesterase inhibiting activity or any combination thereof and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier.
