Abstract

The present invention is a photographic element including a support, at least one silver halide image-forming layer; and a hydrophilic protective layer. The hydrophilic protective layer includes a hydrophilic colloid, and a fluoroolefin-vinyl ether copolymer having a glass transition temperature greater than 25.degree. C. and a hydroxyl number greater than 5.
