Abstract
Detergent compositions comprising anionic ethoxylated or propoxylated hydroxy ethane and propane sulfonate, NaO.sub.3 SCH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 --O(CH.sub.2 CH.sub.2 O).sub.n -- end-capped esters useful as soil release agents. The esters further contain terephthalate units, oxy-1,2-alkyleneoxy units (oxyethyleneoxy units preferred), and sulfoisophthalate units.
