Abstract
A method is provided for reducing an inflammatory response in a mammal comprising administering to a mammal at risk of developing or afflicted with an inflammatory response characterized by substantially elevated levels of IL-1.alpha., IL-1.beta., IL-6, IL-8 and TNF.alpha., an amount of IL-10 effective to substantially lower the levels of such cytokines.
