Abstract
De-scaling solution comprising about 5 wt. % to about 25 wt. % nitric acid, about 0.1 wt. % to 1 wt. % phosphoric acid, about 0.5 wt. % to about 9 wt. % hydrogen peroxide, about 2 wt. % to about 12 wt. % surfactant and the balance water, preferably deionized. Optionally, a catalyst such as NiCl.sub.2 or FeCl.sub.2 may be added to the solution.
