Abstract

A deflection yoke having upper and lower magnets located at upper and lower positions of the funnel side of a cathode-ray-tube, for correcting upper and lower pin-cushion distortions. The upper and lower magnets are movably held so as to make magnetic fields formed by the magnets variable horizontally or vertically and asymmetrically. Accordingly, asymmetrical image distortion both in a vertical direction and a horizontal direction can be easily corrected.
