Abstract

A flexible tubular pipe is provided having, from the inside outward, an inner sealing sleeve or tube, and an armoring including multiple armoring webs. The armoring is made up of a first armoring web on which the inner sealing sleeve or tube rests, the first armoring web including multiple interlocked wires wound with an angle A1 less than 80.degree. in relation to an axis of the flexible tubular pipe, and a set of armoring webs placed on the outside of the first armoring web, and in which at least one of the wires of the set of armoring webs is not interlocked, and is arranged so that all of the winding angles of the wires of the set of armoring webs are complementary to the angle A1, thereby obtaining a balanced flexible tubular pipe.
