Abstract
Radiation curable compositions having improved moisture resistance with at least one acrylic monomer, silica, at least one initiator for ultraviolet radiation-induced curing of said composition, an effective amount of at least one ultraviolet light absorber, an effective amount of at least one hindered amine light stabilizer to inhibit ultraviolet radiation-induced degradation of said composition, and an effective amount of at least one acrylic functional siloxane additive to provide a surface energy of said composition having a contact angle of water greater than about 80.degree.. When employed as coatings for resinous articles, such as polycarbonate, and cured, said compositions provide improved weatherability and moisture resistance.
