Abstract

An uncapped polysiloxane composition is provided having the formula: ##STR1## wherein: R is selected from R.sub.2 or --OR.sub.9 wherein R.sub.9 is hydrogen or alkyl; R.sub.1, which can be the same or different, is selected from R.sub.2, an amine containing group of the formula --(CH.sub.2).sub.n --F.sub.n1 --B.sub.n2 --F--NH.sub.2 functional carboxyl group of the general formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.5 is hydrogen, alkyl or alkali metal; F is linear or branched alkylene; B is --NR.sub.9, oxygen or sulfur, wherein R.sub.9 is hydrogen or lower alkyl (C.sub.1-6); R.sub.2 can be the same or different and is selected from alkyl, aryl, alkenyl or alkeynyl; R.sub.3 and R.sub.4, which may be the same or different are selected from alkyl, aryl, capped or uncapped polyoxyalkylene, alkaryl, aralkylene or alkenyl; a is an integer from 0 to 50,000; and b is an integer from 0 to 100.
