Abstract

The present invention relates to, inter alia, methods and compositions for reducing, treating or preventing respiratory depression in an animal, using a compound of the formula: ##STR1## wherein: Ar, G, Z, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, R.sup.5, R.sup.6 and R.sup.7 are as defined in specification, or a pharmaceutically acceptable ester or salt thereof.
