Abstract

The present invention is directed to a compound of formula (1); ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1 and R.sup.2 are each independently a halogen atom, a C.sub.1-6 alkyl, a C.sub.1-6 haloalkyl, a C.sub.1-6 alkylsulfonyl or the like, R.sup.3 is a di-C.sub.1-6 alkoxymethyl, a di-C.sub.1-6 alkylthiomethyl, and R.sup.4 and R.sup.5 are each independently hydrogen, a C.sub.1-6 alkyl, a C.sub.2-6 alkenyl or the like, and a salt thereof, and a herbicide comprising the said compound and/or the salt.
