The system includes a preceding apparatus and a succeeding apparatus connected in series with the preceding apparatus. The device includes a first terminal that transmits and receives information and control signals to and from the preceding apparatus, and a second terminal that transmits and receives information and control signals to and from the succeeding apparatus.
