Abstract

This invention relates generally to the field of devices designed to prevent the use of electrical equipment or appliances by securing the electrical plug. More specifically this invention relates to a device which will captivately surround the blades of the electrical plug in such a manner that young children, elderly persons, or mentally retarded persons cannnot gain access to their use, and which incorporates a clamping mechanism which can be actuated without the use of any external apparatus, such as a key or a tool.
