Abstract

In an ink jet printer head using a hot-melt ink, a diaphragm disposed between a piezoelectric element and a cavity plate is made from such a resin that has more than 400 kg/mm.sup.2 modulus of elasticity, less than 20.times.10.sup.-6 cm/cm.multidot..degree. C. rate of thermal expansion, and more than 20 kg/mm.sup.2 tensile strength. With the use of such a resin material in the diaphragm, the diaphragm stretched over the cavity plate will not be loosened even if there is a temperature change in the diaphragm, whereby ink ejection which is highly responsive to the displacement of the piezoelectric element can be attained.
