Abstract
A moderate visible light transmitting soda-lime-silica glass of a blue green tint having, at a nominal 4 mm thickness, a visible light transmittance of about 10% to about 70%, and a direct solar heat transmittance of at least 5% less than the visible light transmittance. The soda-lime-silica glass composition includes the essential ingredients of about 1 to about 3 weight percent Fe.sub.2 O.sub.3, about 0.1 to about 1 weight percent TiO.sub.2, and about 0 to 500 ppm Co.sub.3 O.sub.4 with a ferrous iron to total iron content of about 10% to about 37% by weight.
