Abstract
Cosmetic compositions useful in skin care are provided containing an effective aesthetic enhancing amount of calcium salt starch derivatives having the following formula: ##STR1## where ST is the starch base material, R is a dimethylene group and R' is a substituent hydrocarbon group having 10 to 16 carbon atoms.
