Abstract

A plunger clamp that provides a positive clamping force in each direction and an over center locking force in each direction, both while providing a low profile relative to the axis of the clamping force when closed in either direction. The clamp has a toggle arm pivotally connected to the plunger support above the axis of the plunger to allow the plunger to clamp at each end of its stroke, without requiring a 180.degree. rotation of the handle.
