Abstract
A laminated piezoelectric element has a surface electrode formed on a surface of the element and having an area falling within the range from 0.002 mm.sup.2 to 0.2 mm.sup.2, and a first region excluding the surface electrode on the surface on which the surface electrode is formed, and having a level difference (surface roughness) which is less than or equal to 20 .mu.m.
