Abstract
A woodworking machinery jig and fixture system includes an L-shaped track which can be attached to a separate wood fence, a miter head, an auxiliary table or other workpiece support of woodworking machinery such as a table saw, a band saw, radial arm saw, miter saw, a drill press or a router table. Two T-slots are formed in the top of the track, two are formed in the front, and one is formed in the back. A flip stop can be adjustably mounted in either of the two top T-slots, a wood fence can be secured in the front T-slots and the rear T-slot can be used to mount the track to a miter head, fence of a miter saw, or other work guide. Two sections of track can be connected with a connector set, and a lower end cap is used to support the workpiece next to the cutting tool. A miter guide with a 360.degree. adjustable head can be used to mount a section of track and the track to mount stops for clamping a workpiece between them for cutting tapers. A wood fence can be used to extend the track, with a stop adjustably mounted on the top of the wood fence. A guideway for the miter guide has a concave bottom wall which adjustably flexes to tighten the guideway around a miter guide bar.
