Abstract

The invention is directed to therapeutic methods for treating diseases associated with tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-.alpha.) induced cell toxicity and/or complement induced cell toxicity, improved methods for treating diseases whose therapy comprises the administration of at least one growth factor, and improved methods for preventing cell death associated with acute tissue injury.
