Abstract
A composition for coating and treating aggregate intended for use in paving applications is a blend of high temperature coal tar pitch combined with coal tar oils resulting from distilling high temperature coke oven tar to pitch having a softening point from between 100.degree. to 400.degree. F. cube in Air. The oil blend having a distillation curve to 300.degree. C. ASTM D 158 is shown in Table I, in separate embodiments as shown in columns I and II.
