Abstract

Disclosed is an apparatus for aligning a focused beam of light and, in particular, a laser beam onto a surface using optical elements which image, respectively shape, deflect and align the beam of light. The present invention is distinguished by a deflecting optical element having, in addition, a focusing effect.
