Abstract
An apparatus is adapted to receive a mechanism, for example, such as a removable felt tipped marker insert, for use in a graphic input system. The apparatus comprises a housing, retaining mechanism disposed within at least a portion of the housing and which is adapted for holding the mechanism, and an actuating mechanism between the retaining mechanism and the housing for movement of the retaining mechanism relative to the housing so as to actuate the apparatus.
