Abstract
A process is described for preparing a compound of the formula I: ##STR1## or a salt thereof; wherein X is a protecting group and R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3 and R.sub.4 are each independently hydrogen, C.sub.1-6 alkyl or C.sub.1-6 perfluoroalkyl, R.sub.5 is hydrogen or when n is 1 R.sub.5 taken together with R.sub.3 comprises a double bond; m is 1, 2 or 3; n is 0 or 1, and p is 0, 1 or 2.
