Abstract
A liquid crystal display having a thin film transistor includes a substrate, an active layer formed over the substrate, the active layer having a channel region, source and drain regions, and an offset region, a gate insulating layer formed on the active layer, a lower gate electrode formed on the gate insulating layer, and an upper gate electrode formed on the lower gate electrode, wherein the lower and upper gate electrode are different in width.
