Abstract
A transfer paper for color electrophotography has an intermediate layer and transfer layers respectively provided on the surface side and back side of the intermediate layer. The intermediate layer has a surface resistivity which is higher than the surface resistivity of the transfer layers. The transfer paper has a basis weight of from 100 g/m.sup.2 to 160 g/m.sup.2. The surface of the transfer paper has a Bekk smoothness within the range of from 100 seconds to 200 seconds.
