Abstract

The present invention relates generally to .alpha.-aminoboronic acids and corresponding peptide analogs in which the .alpha.-carbon is substituted with an optionally functionalized piperidine containing alkyl group. These compounds are useful as inhibitors of trypsin-like serine protease enzymes.
