Abstract

The invention provides a multilayer color negative photographic element comprising a support, at least one light-sensitive silver halide layer sensitive to each of the blue, green and red regions of the visible spectrum, a magnetic recording layer and a yellow or orange-yellow methine density correction dye of structure I, ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1 is hydrogen or an alkyl group;
