Abstract
A method for forming a metal spray coating, which comprises coating on a substrate to be metal-sprayed, one pack type cold self-crosslinking resin aqueous dispersion containing insoluble solid particles having an average particle size of from 5 to 200 .mu.m, to form a primer layer having a rough surface, and then spraying a metal on the primer layer.
