Abstract
A toner whose main binder is a vinyl-type copolymer which has a styrene-type monomer and/or a (meth)acrylic ester monomer as constituent units wherein the vinyl-type copolymer has peaks of the molecular weight distribution at least in the range from 3.times.10.sup.3 to 4.times.10.sup.4 and in the range from 3.times.10.sup.5 to 8.times.10.sup.6, and the BET specific surface area of the main binder is 0.02-0.2 m.sup.2 /g.
