Abstract
The invention relates to bicyclo�3.3.0!octane compounds of formula I, ##STR1## wherein the variable are defined in this specification, as well as their enantiomers, and their salts with physiologically compatible bases. .alpha.-, .beta.-, or .tau.-Cyclodextrin clathrates of the compounds and the compounds encapsulated with liposomes are also included. The invention is further directed to processes for production of the compounds and their pharmaceutical use.
