Abstract

The present invention provides a thermal transfer image-receiving sheet which is not influenced by environmental conditions, such as temperature and humidity, gives rise to no deterioration in the above effect during and even after the formation of an image and always exhibits a high antistatic property. The thermal transfer image-receiving sheet includes a substrate sheet and a receptive layer provided on at least one surface thereof, the substrate sheet having a surface resistivity of not more than 1.times.10.sup.12 .OMEGA./.quadrature. as measured under environmental conditions of a temperature of 20.degree. C. and a humidity of 50%, a conductive intermediate layer being provided between the substrate sheet and the receptive layer, a layer containing a conductive material being provided on both the outermost surfaces of the substrate sheet.
