Abstract
A process for the preparation of a compound having the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sup.1, R.sup.2, R.sup.3, R.sup.4, and R.sup.5 are defined, from an enamine by chain expansion and ring closure followed by additional derivatization, treatment with a 3-alkoxyl-acryloyl compound, another ring closure, and converting a hydroxyl group to a leaving group.
