Abstract
A process of bleaching using at least one imide-aromatic (poly)peroxyacid, having a formula: ##STR1## wherein A represents the residue of a benzene or napthalene ring optionally substituted by a COOH or COOOH group, the symbol or symbols R, which may be the same or different from each other, represent a hydrogen atom, a C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl group, an OH group, a COOH group, a COOOH group, a COOR' group, wherein R' represents a C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl group, or a substituted C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkyl group wherein the substituent is nitro, an OH group or a C.sub.1 -C.sub.5 alkoxy group, and n is an integer from 1 to 5.
