Abstract

An ink composition comprised of a colorant and an imide or bisimide with a viscosity of from about 1 centipoise to about 10 centipoise at a temperature of from about 125.degree. C. to about 180.degree. C., and which imide or bisimide is of the Formulas I or II, respectively: ##STR1## wherein R is a hydrocarbon of from about 2 to about 50 carbon atoms; R' is an alkylene hydrocarbon or a polyalkyleneoxide, each with from about 2 to about 30 carbon atoms; and X is an arylene of from 6 to about 24 carbon atoms, or an alkylene of from about 2 to about 10 carbon atoms.
