Abstract
A thermal transfer sheet is provided which comprises: a foundation; a recording agent layer provided on one side of the foundation; and a back layer provided on the other side of the foundation and containing a binder resin and a charge-transfer complex; wherein the charge-transfer complex comprises an electrically conductive organic polymer serving as an electron donor and an electron acceptor; and wherein the back layer has a surface resistivity of not greater than 10.sup.11 .OMEGA./cm.sup.2.
