Abstract
A film carrier is constructed in that a cartridge where a photographic film is wound around a winding shaft is loaded in a cartridge loading portion, the photographic film is transported on a base portion by a transporting device while being pulled out of the cartridge. Image frames recorded on the photographic film are successively disposed at a predetermined printing position, and the photographic film is accommodated in a film accommodating portion on the side opposite to the cartridge loading portion. The film carrier includes a spool shaft provided in the film accommodating portion and winding around the photographic film, a guiding device provided in the film accommodating portion and guiding the photographic film toward a periphery of the spool shaft and winding the film around the spool shaft, a motor which can drive the spool shaft, and a device provided between the motor and the spool shaft for transmitting a driving force of the motor to the spool shaft via frictional force so that a winding speed of the spool shaft is adjusted to a conveying speed of the transporting device.
