Abstract
This invention provides a hepatic graft preservative composition containing a phosphoric acid diester compound of the formula: ##STR1## (wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2 are the same or different and each represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl group) or a pharmacologically acceptable salt thereof and a method for viable preservation of the hepatic graft using the above substance. The hepatic graft preservative composition and hepatic graft preserving method of this invention inhibit hepatic microcirculation disturbance following cold storage-reperfusion of the liver to effectively prevent necrosis of hepatocytes and is, therefore, useful for the preservation of the hepatic graft.
