Abstract
A nonionic powdery detergent composition which is free from bleeding of a nonionic surfactant, does not exhibit any deterioration in its solubility even after the passage of time and has an excellent detergency against a fatty acid soil, which comprises 12 to 50% by weight of (a) a nonionic surfactant having a melting point of 40.degree. C. or below, 3 to 60% by weight of (b) a specified crystalline layer silicate, and 5 to 30% by weight of (c) a porous oil-absorbent carrier having an oil absorbability of 80 ml/100 g or more, and a process for producing the nonionic powdery detergent composition.
