Abstract

The invention concerns new indophenyl-substituted maltose derivatives, their use for the determination of the enzymatic activity of .alpha.-amylase and reagents for the determination of .alpha.-amylase which contain the new indophenyl-substituted maltose derivatives as the enzyme substrate.
